DISTINCT
Today at the studio
Someone is making a poster of every genre the studio has worked in. The first list you send has "Comedy" twice, and Nagi gives you the look he usually saves for the coffee machine.
The idea
A column often repeats the same value many times. SELECT DISTINCT removes duplicate rows from the result.
With several columns, DISTINCT looks at the whole row: two rows are duplicates only when every selected column is equal.
